•Afenifere, Ijaw youths fault them The 19 northern governors came under criticism yesterday over their position that the Fulani should not be labelled as criminals. The Yoruba socio-political organisation, Afenifere, asked the governors to bury their heads in shame over their position which came in the wake of the heat generated by the attack on Ukpabi-Ninbo community in Enugu State by suspected Fulani herdsmen, last Monday. Ijaw Youths Council (IYC) also condemned the governors. Gov Ugwuanyi of Enugu State during his visit to survivors of herdsmen attack in his state. The northern governors, who met in Kaduna, on Friday, had taken a strong exception to the branding of perpetrators of crimes around the country as Fulani. The Chairman of the Northern States Governors Forum (NSGF) and Governor of Borno State, Alhaji Kashim Shettima, who spoke on behalf of the group, said it was an insult to consider criminals as Fulani. Afenifere, yesterday, faulted the governors’ position, asking them to bury their heads in shame. The Yoruba group, which spoke through their National Publicity Secretary, Mr. Yinka Odumakin, told Sunday Vanguard: “It (the northern governors’ position) is a sign of unfeeling, uncaring for any group today to come out and say that those who have been causing problems and killing people in the Middle Belt and the South are not Fulani herdsmen. They have killed in Agatu land, Enugu; a traditional ruler was killed in Delta State; they killed Chief Olu Falae’s guard and also kidnapped Chief Falae himself. For some people to gather and call themselves northern governors, and have no sympathy for lives than to be defending the Fulani herdsmen, shows clearly that it is a tragedy of monumental proportion to be in the same country with these elements. You also begin to wonder if the blood of human beings runs in their veins because anybody that has human blood running in his veins will not come and say that Fulani herdsmen are not responsible. What nonsense.” The Afenifere spokesperson went on: “I think the northern governors should bury their heads in shame. I do not think they are fit to be in the comity of civilized human beings. If the attackers are not Fulani herdsmen, where have they struck in the North-West? Why are their activities only in the Middle Belt and in the South? That is the question these northern governors should answer. When militants were blowing up pipelines in the South-South, were they not called Niger Delta militants? Do they want us to call them Yoruba herdsmen?” In a statement, the IYC described the northern governors’ position as an affront on other nationalities. Spokesman for the group, Eric Omare, who spoke to Sunday Vanguard, said the governors stance was disappointing and a tacit support for criminality and Fulani herdsmen pillaging of their host communities. His words, “The statement by the northern governors is disappointing and a tacit support for criminality and the ongoing Fulani herdsmen terrorism. “If they are interested in peace in Nigeria, they ought to be more concerned about the implication of the activities of the Fulani herdsmen rather than a perceived insult on the Fulani race. “The IYC condemns the stand taken by the northern governors and calls on southern leaders to brace up for the challenges ahead. “Furthermore, we wish to state that part of the reason Boko Haram grew to become a national problem was the tacit support given to them by northern political leaders and this Fulani herdsmen terrorism is taking the same pattern; hence it must be taken seriously.”

TIWA SAVAGE SPEAKS UP: REAL PEOPLE TRUE STORIES.
Social media went agog on Thursday April 28th following popular singer Tiwa Savage’s husband, Tunji ‘TeeBillz’ Balogun psychological meltdown.
The manager TeeBillz accused his wife Tiwa of having multiple sexual affairs with Dr. Sid, Don Jazzy and 2face Idibia, and that his mother-in-law and Tiwa are witches. And that he is tired of being with the songstress.
However, the songstress in an exclusive interview obtained by Pulse has opened up about the ongoing drama telling her narrating her side of the story.
According to her, she has never cheated on TeeBillz, not with Don Jazzy or any of her label mates.
Her words;
“I have never cheated on my husband. Not with Don Jazzy, Dr Sid, 2face Idibia or anybody. I have never cheated on my husband, and Tunji knows this. He knows that in his heart. (She breaks down in tears) Sometimes in the studio, one of the things that Don Jazzy and some of my other label mates say is that I am really good with interviews, with being diplomatic and knowing how to carry myself with difficult situations. This hurts. I have seen comments of what people are saying about me. It is not true.”
Speaking furthermore, she said, on her husband’s accusations,
“TJ has not spent one Naira, I paid for hospital bills, his flight, his accommodation, we also went shopping for TJ so that he will have new things. His excuse was that Í don’t have money
I had to pay for everything so that he can go out and hustle, and get the contracts. He didn’t have money for diapers, but he had money to have a bi-weekly haircut, had money to pay for his laundry, had money to take a woman to the hotel.”
Dear Tiwa, take it easy, it's going to be alright.

Satire: Buhari Has This To Say About The Herdsmen Killings
Fellow Nigerians, it is with great joy I announce to you that the 2016 budget will be signed into law today. I met with Senator Saraki and Dogaro yesterday. We are straightening out all grey areas regarding the budget, and very soon, we will begin implementing the budget. Once the budget is passed, I will release Nnamdi Kanu.
I heard some Igbos where killed yesterday. I also read from newspaper that the DSS found a grave site in Abia State and with the current state of the art equipment my government purchased, they were able to tell by mere sighting the decomposed bodies that they were Fulani herdsmen.
This technology was imported from Saudi Arabia. However, we have tried to deploy it in Northern Nigeria but it seem not to work there. Its operability is in Southern Nigeria and particularly when referenced to Igbos.
I belong to no one. I belong to everyone. But permit me to clarify that my government is doing everything possible to stall my tribesmen from getting overly angry and inflicting small injuries on Enugu people. Recall that during the last presidential elections, Enugu State voted for PDP. The numbers they churned out nearly made me lose the election until we deployed Kano Strategy.
I have not hidden my agenda. I have told Nigerians and the world that those who voted for me will reap the benefits. My primary preference is those who supported me. Those who didn’t, like Enugu State will reap the fruit of their labor. Like I said, I belong to no one. I belong to all.
Those who say I hate Enugu State are grossly mistaken. I have allowed Air Peace to operate in Enugu State. However, the headquarters is in Lagos State, the capital of APC.
It is my absolute duty to protect and preserve the live of every Nigerian starting from North East first. We are trying our best to maintain peace and order all over the country. Boko Haram members who surrender willingly are rehabilitated and reintegrated into the society where they can graduate from planting bombs to planting carrots.
Fellow Nigerians, the Fulanis don’t forget. We remember how Enugu indigenes nearly scuttled our plans of returning power to the North. Their population has to be reduced so they don’t turn the tide against me. I see they support Saraki. I met with Saraki yesterday. He has agreed that we resolve the budget impasse. I know you people want to support him against me in 2019.
Finally, I have issued a decree that all village heads in the South where oil pipelines are blown up must produce those who did it. I have also pleaded with my Fulani herdsmen to relax since 2019 is still far. To this effect, I will set up a committee in May 14th that will look at how the National Grazing Bill will be implemented. The grazing areas will naturally be in places where the land is green. We will start with Enugu State.
God bless he federal republic of Biafra. God bless the federal republic of Fulani. God bless the federal republic of Nigeria.

south-east govs storm Abuja over fulani herdsmen killing
Apparently peeved by the relentless killings and attacks on communities in
the South-East geopolitical zones, governors of the region have headed to
Abuja to lodge their displeasure to the Federal Government.
It is believed that the governors are not merely on a trip to complain but to
make some definite demands on the presidency concerning the
unchallenged impunities of Fulani herdsmen in the region.
Governor Rochas Okorocha, who returned to Imo State Tuesday from a
medical trip, is said to have rallied his colleagues in the region to action,
describing the killings by the nomads as a national calamity.
While the governors of Imo, Enugu and Abia left for Abuja Wednesday
morning, the governor of Ebonyi State left Tuesday evening for Abuja.
It is not very clear the disposition of Governor Willy Obiano of Anambra
State on the issue as he appears to always distance himself from the
activities of the South-East governors.
For the other four governors of the region, they are evidently pained by
the wanton killing campaigns of the Fulani nomads and are sufficiently
embarrassed and insulted by the fact that in the face of such killings, the
system renders them helpless and unable to protect their citizens.

IGBO WOMEN PROTEST OVER FULANI HERDSMEN KILLINGS
Fulani Herdsmen Killing: Igbo Women Protest, Echoes In One Voice – ‘Ndigbo Cannot Be Islamised’
The Igbo Women Assembly, IWA, has kicked against any plan to reserve grazing lands or ranches for Fulani herdsmen in the South-east geopolitical zone, stressing that doing so, would be a tacit approval to the herdsmen to continue killing Igbo men and rape their wives and daughters.
They said that the only one sensible route to the country’s development was for Nigeria to be restructured now, adding that, “intimidation will not work” as the people of the zone “cannot be islamised”.
The women, who spoke in reaction to the latest killing of farmers at Nimbo in Uzo Uwani Local Government Area of Enugu State Monday, decried the audacity the herdsmen have in killing innocent Nigerians since President Muhammadu Buhari assumed office about 10 months ago.
IWA made its stand known in a statement signed by its National President, Chief (Mrs) Marie Nwanyiwunwa Okwo, who also decried the extra –judicial killing of members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, by security agents among other injustices meted out to the zone.
Okwo’s statement reads in part, “Not long ago, 76 people from Ugwuleshi in Awgu Local Government Area of Enugu State, were arrested by the Nigerian Army and taken to Umuahia, which is another area of jurisdiction.
“Their offence was that they tried to defend their farm land from being destroyed by the Fulani herdsmen. It was through the intervention of the Governor of Enugu State that those poor farmers were later released on bail.
“The extra-judicial killing of the Independent People of Biafra, IPOB, members between November 2015 and February 2016, in Port Harcourt, Aba and Onitsha is condemned by IWA.
“This unresolved, cold-blooded murder of Eastern youths, coupled with the provocative brigandage of Fulani in recent times may have probably emboldened the Director of State Services, DSS, to publicly lay a charge of abduction and murder on the IPOB for effect.
“This accusation of killing and burying of five northerners (in a shallow grave), if true, is wrong and IWA condemns it, and would want the culprits brought to early justice.
“If, however, the accusation is false, then, it must be said as succinctly as possible that the DSS has taken a very dangerous route that will not only lay the foundation for eventual disintegration of Nigeria but ensures that a needless bloodbath accompanies the mayhem. The DSS intends to prop up mutual suspicion and spur ethnic hatred.
“Our message to the APC government is clear, short and precise. The quest to intimidate, oppress and silence Eastern Nigeria will not succeed. The dream of conquering our people through hatred and threat of genocide will not work. We cannot be islamised.
There is only one sensible route open to Nigeria, which is to restructure the country now. Intimidation will not work; neither will false accusations. CREATION OF GRAZING RESERVES OR RANCHES
“This is a time bomb waiting to explode. IWA says NO to Grazing Reserves or Ranches and grazing routes in Igbo land. Any attempt to acquire, seize and (or) occupy our ancestral lands for Fulani herdsmen to facilitate the killings of our people and raping of our women and daughters will be highly resisted.
FULANI ATTACK ON UZO UWANI LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA OF ENUGU STATE
“On the night of April 24, 2016, while villagers were asleep, Fulani herdsmen struck, killing several people, and setting churches and cars ablaze. The DSS is yet to react to these heinous crimes.
“For how long must our people continue to suffer in the hands of herdsmen? IWA calls on President Muhammadu Buhari and the security agencies to treat the Fulani menace with the urgency it requires.
We cannot continue to tolerate these unprovoked attacks on our people. It may lead to total, uncontrollable anarchy.”

21 YEARS OLD MOTHER OF TWINS DECLARED BRAIN DEAD; HER ORGANS SAVE 6 LIVES
Mother declared brain dead: Shao Ziyan gave birth to healthy twin boys two months ago. On Wednesday, April 13, the 21-year-old was declared brain dead by a Zhejiang hospital, China, after a short battle with acute fatty liver of pregnancy (AFLP), a rare complication of pregnancy, for some fifty days. AFLP is a rare condition that affects 1 in 15,000 pregnancies, and normally occurs in the third trimester.
In a act worthy of emulation, Shao’s family members decided to donate her organs, which have gone on to save four lives and help two people regain their eyesight. “Donating my daughter’s organs will let her life continue in another form. It’s like my daughter’s still alive and has never left me,” Ziyan’s father Shao Wanhua said, describing why he made the brave and praiseworthy decision.
Shao’s husband Chen said he will let the twins take two surnames, taking both their father’s and mother’s family names, to commemorate his wife. According to CCTV, people have been donating money to the family to provide support for the motherless two-months-old twins. Bravo!

Why we transferred Fr Mbaka —Catholic Church
ABUJA—The Catholic Church has explained the recent transfer of controversial Catholic priest, Rev. Father Ejike Mbaka from Enugu to Emene. The Church said the essence of his transfer was to make him more useful. In a reaction through the Secretary-General of the Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria, Reverend Father Ralph Madu, yesterday, the church said the posting was not meant to be punitive but a “normal church procedure.” Rev-Father-Mbaka According to him, “Mbaka’s transfer is not an exception; the Bishop has the right to post any priest wherever he feels his service would be more useful to the church. “ His posting should have been a privilege, not a punishment – which the Bishop can do because he has the power. “If he (Mbaka) says it’s a punishment, then it’s open for further investigation. Posting is a regular thing, a priest can be transferred after two, three, four, or more years. It depends on the discretion of the Bishop. “That ministry (Adoration Ministry) is his private ministry. It does not belong to the church. Overseeing a parish is a full time job. Overseeing a ministry is a bigger task. If the church decides to take him somewhere where he’ll have more time to carry out his ministry, how is it punitive? That should not be the language.” Madu said Fr. Mbaka had done things that were unacceptable to the church in the past but received no punishments for them. He said: “He is supposed to be a missionary. What if the Bishop had closed down the ministry , which is within his power to do? Sometimes, transfers can be for the good of the priest as something can be going wrong which he might not be aware of. The Bishop is free to move any priest at any time, it is his prerogative.” Criticisms had greeted the Enugu Diocese’s recent decision to transfer Mr. Mbaka out of Christ the King Parish , GRA, where he had served for over a decade and had established a popular prayer ministry, the Adoration Prayer Ministry. Fr Mbaka is to resume immediately at his new post at the Our Lady Parish, Emene. The priest, who is as fiery as he is
controversial, had described his re-posting by the church as a “calculated move” to make him suffer."

SUSPECTED Fulani herdsmen yesterday kidnapped eight persons in
Obiaruku, Ukwuani Local Government Area of Delta State and held
them hostage for several hours during which the victims were
allegedly tortured and brutalized.
The victims were said to be working in their farmland when the
herdsmen stormed the farm at about 6am and seized the workers on
the ground that they (farmers) were responsible for the killing of four
cows in the neighborhood.
Youth leader of the community, Comrade Chika Uwabuofu, however
said the victims were later released at about 2.30pm by the hostage
takers as tension was building in the community.
Uwabuofu who lamented the unwholesome activities of herdsmen in
the community, said that “for some time now, Fulani herdsmen have
been harassing our men and women in their farmlands, eating the
food in their barns and using their cows to destroy their crops.
“On account of this, we have been reporting their activities to the
police and a meeting was held by the council chairman, some top
government functionaries and the state chairman of the Fulani
herdsmen where they given three days to leave the community.
“Truly , they left, but after some days, some women came to report
that some Fulani herdsmen were seen with their cows in the
community. Then today, they held eight of our men hostage. We are
not aware that their cows were killed and butchered as they are
claiming.
“We appeal to the government to come and assist us by evacuating
them from our farmlands because that is our only means of
livelihood.”
As at the time of filing this report, security operatives were said to
have be drafted to the community to restore peace and calm frayed
nerves of residents.

Protest In Ekiti Over Doctors Death In Abuja-Kaduna Expressway Accident
The death of three doctors of the Federal Teaching Hospital, Ido-Ekiti (FETHI) in an accident on the Abuja-Kaduna Expressway on Sunday has sparked a protest and strike by their colleagues.
Trooping out en masse in a protest which forced the closure of the hospital yesterday, the workers claimed that the doctors’ death was placed at the doorstep of the Chief Medical Director, Dr. Lawrence Ayodele. They claimed that workers have been dying mysteriously during Ayodele’s tenure, accusing the CMD of carrying out rituals in the dead of the night in the hospital.
Various unions, including the Medical Health Workers Union of Nigeria (MHWUN), Senior Staff Association (SSA), National Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives (NANNM), locked the hospital’s main gate. They accused the CMD of using juju to kill workers in a bid to secure a second term. The protest which started at about 6am went on for several hours.
Singing dirges, they barricaded the Ido-Otun Highway preventing human and vehicular traffic. According to the irate staff, 42 of them had died in the last 42 months Some of their placards read: “42 Months 42 Dead”; “No To Occultism and Ritual Actions in FETHI”; “Give Us New CMD in FETHI” and “Buhari, Save Our Souls”, among others.
The Chairman of FETHI Branch of Senior Staff Association, Adetula Akinlolu, claimed that strange people come into the hospital at odd hours to carry out rituals.
The strange men, according to him, claimed to be acting under the instruction of the CMD. He alleged that two of such rituals were carried out in the last two weeks which is now raising workers’ eyebrows on the latest deaths.
Akinlolu said: “So many people have been complaining that some people do come here in the night and leave in the morning to carry out rituals but I never believed until I witnessed it about two weeks ago on April 7.
“I was on the night shift and I went to the SSA Common Room to get a bottle of soft drink and security operatives called me that they had arrived again. I was surprised because I was not expecting anybody.
“But when I got to the Administration Block, I saw that they had entered and locked the door from inside but I was able to hear people talking in the CMD’s office. I rushed back to the gate to get some security men to follow me but they have gone on patrol but I stayed back. Around 5am, I went inside the NHIS Building to ease myself but before I returned they had all left. I was able to take pictures of their number plates because they came into two Toyota Highlanders. After they left, I rushed to the security post again to ask why they allowed those people in. The security men replied that they were acting on Ayodele’s instruction.”
“We have since discovered that whenever these strange people come here, one or two calamities happen here and this has been a recurring exercise. Last week, I was told that those set of strange people came again but I was not on night duty so I could not ascertain the authenticity of the story but to my greatest surprise, I was called yesterday that some doctors were on their way to Sokoto and they had an accident and seven of them died, including three doctors, who were our members.”
The SSA’s spokesman, Temitope Ogunleye, called on the Federal Government to investigate the circumstances surrounding the “mysterious” deaths.
Ogunleye said: “The Federal Government should look into these happenings, these deaths are too much. Many of our members died last year, now we have three workers dead again.”
But Ayodele, who spoke with reporters on phone, said he was in Sokoto for the Annual General Meeting and National Executive Committee meeting of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA). He said all CMDs of health institutions owned by the Federal Government are in Sokoto under the directive of the Federal Ministry of Health.
When informed on the protest in his hospital, Ayodele said: “Grief is a normal thing this is a colossal loss and there is no way there won’t be a reaction to this but we must not allow our personal emotion to get the better of us.”
A worker, who pleaded for anonymity, said: “The workers are angry because they are convinced that the CMD is carrying out some diabolical things killing their colleagues. To me, they are justified because during the last administration where the former CMD spent eighth years and three months, we hardly recorded four deaths. This present one has hardly spent four years and we have lost about 51 workers.”
FETHI spokesman Adeboyejo Adekunle, said: “All these allegations are baseless. You cannot attribute somebody’s death to the CMD. He is not a killer. People die in workplaces all over the world.
“Anybody can say anything but I want to assure you that he is not the one who has been killing people. The protests and allegations are the works of disgruntled elements in the hospital, who feel that if anything happens in the hospital, the CMD must be the culprit.
“You know that some doctors from the Ekiti State Teaching Hospital, Ado-Ekiti also died in the accident but nobody accused the CMD of murder. It is only in Ido that some workers are protesting, barricading the road and singing war songs.
“In Ido, the situation has always been chaotic whenever a CMD is completing his tenure, there would be crisis. It happened to Ayodele’s predecessor. Some people are against his second term of the CMD. They are disgruntled elements and they are the ones behind all this.”

ORIAKU IROH ACUSSES PMB OF AIDING FULANI HERDSMEN- APOLOGISES TO GBURUGBURU
Details of Buharis silence.
Apologies to Governor of Enugu state.
There was a call made by Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi to the president, he was put on hold for over an hour 15 minutes.
This call was made in the presence of 13 men and 4 women, the president aid told the Governor that the president will get back to him. The president through his aid after 4 hrs told Enugu state governor that the president will do something about it.
My relative was among the people who witness this call. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi on hearing that the police have not arrived at Uzouwani called GOC 82 division for help. He was refereed to the presidency again.
This time around, he was put on hold for nearly 2 hrs again, while waiting to speak to the president. News came in that the attack he was planning to prevent has actually taken place.
Within an hour, the commissioner and GOC who refereed the Governor to the president has mobilised their men to stop retaliation. The same way Lagos and Agatu was attacked and retaliation prevented.
I want to use this medium to apologise to the Governor of Enugu state, but I would like him to demand probe/investigation on this massacre. I will know he has learnt his lessons, if not he is still a cretin we will have for only four years.
We need to know why police commissioner and GOC need presidency order before they can protect the innocent citizens?.
We need to know - why police and military sent their men to Uzouwani after the attack to prevent retaliation?.
We need to know why a sitting Governor cannot use the support of police and military to protect his people?.
My governor, I am just apologising because l taught you did nothing at all, but as a man " what was your PLAN B?, if presidency fail to help. You would have use the media which is FREE.
Abled men and women would have prepared to help and protect their people.
Orji Uzo Kalu, used media to avert this type of unnecessarily deaths in Okigwe during his tenure. He called his media team and went on air. His face off with Obasanjo made him bypass OBJ and went on air. Abians was forced to prepare and fulani men went back home.
Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, Buhari is a jihadist he has agenda. Don't wait for police and military use media which is FREE.
Put the call before public media , have it taped and watched and monitored all over the world and Uzouwani citizens would've rushed back home in their millions to protect their relatives. The world will see how a tyrant value lives of his people.
By now people will be calling for GOC and commissioner heads and ofcourse the world would have had evidence that we have Islamic lunatic as a president.
As an incompetent governor you are, you don't have PLAN B which is free.
Tufiakwa!
Umu Igbo, by now all of you would have bought long cutlass, arms and charms. If you are still playing gentleman or woman in the face of this insanity. You will have yourself to blame.
Good day all. Oriaku Enwe Iroh

PMB APPEAL TO NIGERIANS TO BEAR WITH HIM..
Side eyes, lol...
PMB On Sunday night appealed to Nigerians to bear with him over the difficulties in the land, saying Nigerians were seeing the darkest days before dawn.
PMB On Sunday night appealed to Nigerians to bear with him over the difficulties in the land, saying Nigerians were seeing the darkest days before dawn.
While appealing to Nigerians who he said were known for their inner strength to soldier on, he said the change which they voted for was at the corner and about to rock every nook and cranny of the country.
In a strategic move to counter the difficult times, the President ordered the release of 10,000 tons of grains from the national strategic grains reserves.
The move, according to Presidential spokesman, Mallam Garba Shehu also debunked insinuations that the change mantra of the new administration was concomitant with hard times.
The Presidency said a total of N9 trillion was lost by the Federal Government to the Boko Haram insurgency, lamenting that the loss worsened the economy.
Noting the crippling fuel situation, the administration also observed that it inherited a N600 billion debt owed fuel importers and that it was working on ensuring that newly-licensed refineries commenced operations in 2018.
While noting that the Federal Government’s social programmes, including the payment of N5,000 monthly transfers to eligible Nigerians was set to commence, the Presidency called for more understanding from Nigerians on the challenges it said it inherited.
The Presidency further averred that the difficult times were caused by the economy downturn arising from “the Boko Haram insurgency, corruption and the lack of planning by the past administrations and one that should not be blamed on the Change Agenda of the Muhammadu Buhari administration.”
Shehu said: “The Presidency firmly rejects the insinuations that poverty and lack are products of the Change mantra. This should be dismissed as an erroneous and misplaced opposition criticism. The President understands the pain and the cries of the citizens of this country and he is spending sleepless nights over how he can make life better for everyone. Contrary to assertions by a faction of the opposition Conference of Nigerian Political Parties, CNPP, the President’s energy and focus are on changing the lives of Nigerians, with a view to making it better than he met it.
“Change is a process. Change does not happen overnight. Change can be inconvenient. Change sometimes comes with pain. Over the past year, the government has been working night and day to deliver on its promise of change to Nigerians, and the painful process is still ongoing.
“This is work in progress. As life gradually returns to normal in much of the country and the northeast in particular, agriculture will resume and people from other countries will once again feel safe to do business with us.
